Every couple of days I feel the urge to check out Magpul’s website. They have so many cool products. If only I could have them all.
One of my Magpul favorites is their MBUS (Magpul Back-up Sights). They are a great set of inexpensive, high quality sights designed to be mounted on a flattop rifle that does not have any Iron Sights.
Today I noticed they have the MBUS Gen 2 listed as “COMING SOON!”. They have some new features listed below. The best part is you can get a front and rear set for under $100. Not bad!
New Features for Front Sight:
- Reduced size for greater optics compatability
- Spring-locking front sight post holds consistent elevation
New Features for Rear Sight:
- Reduced size for greater optics compatibility
- N.A.W.S. (No Aperture Window Sight) option by folding down both apertures and framing the target within the protective wings for snap-shots in Close Quarters Battle situations
