First I want to say “Thanks” to everyone at GoGun, the makers of the Talon Rifle Brake. They have offered to give us an AR15NEWS.com exclusive sneak peak at some preproduction images of their new GoGun Gas Pedal for the AR-15.
The GoGun Gas Pedal is designed to aid in consistent grip placement and will work with a wide range of shooting grip styles including Angled Fore Grips as well as Vertical Fore Grips. As you will see in the pictures below, the Gas Pedal is also ambidextrous.
The GoGun Gas Pedal is CNC machined from a solid billet of aerospace aluminum and is Made in the USA. As of right now it is still in preproduction but will be available very soon. They will offer it in Back, OD Green, and Flat Dark Earth.
This will definitely be an interesting one to try out. I have a Magpul Angled Fore Grip and have always felt it was hard to figure out the best placement for the thumb. I actually have a short piece of Ladder Rail Cover cut for the top rail so I can rest my thumb there.
