Smith & Wesson and Magpul announced at SHOT Show 2012 that they have partnered up to offer the new Magpul SPEC Series of rifles.  Smith & Wesson calls them the M&P15 MOE Midlength AR-15.  This is going to be a very cool rifle, not just because of all of the Magpul furniture but because it will feature a Forged Lower that is modeled after the legendary Magpul Billet Lower.

It has the same grip serrations built into the front of the magwell, a flared magwell, integrated trigger guard, ambi finger shelf and the lower features the Magpul name and Logo on the ejection side.  They will also feature a patent pending flash hider made by Smith & Wesson just for this new venture.  These rifles will be available with either Black or Flat Dark Earth.  Retail price on these should be $1,249.

My friend Bill (aka Triple Bravo) just happens to be an awesome firearms photographer and is there at SHOT Show 2012.  He took these great photos below and let me share them with you guys.  You can check out the rest of his work on his Triple Bravo Facebook Page, Flickr Page and starting now his new website TripleBravo.com!

There is also a cool video at the bottom of Drake Clark from Magpul introducing the new Magpul SPEC Series rifles.
