I just happened across these two pics earlier today and wanted to quickly share them with you guys.  I know quite a few you guys are going with extremely lightweight builds and are using the typical Collapsible GI Stock.  The main complaint about those stocks are the lack of features such as QD sling mounts.  After some time most people will end up going with a new stock which typically costs anywhere between $65 and $100.  Damage Industries has made a new component just for you guys which they are calling the GI Stock QD Socket Sling Mount.  This is intended to replace the standard issue sling loop with a dual sided quick-detach socket mount.  The new GI Stock QD Socket Sling Mount will be available in both Steel and Aluminum.  No word on pricing just yet but I’m quite confident it will be much more affordable than buying a new stock.  These are in production now so stay tuned.  We’ll update you when they become available.
