Another smoking deal from Palmetto State Armory. This one in the form of a lightweight 16″ Midlength upper. This specific upper is different from their usual style uppers in that it uses a Pencil Profile barrel to keep the weight down but this doesn’t mean its a junk barrel. These Pencil barrels are actually what PSA refers to as a “Premium” barrel which means it is made by FN in their South Carolina manufacturing facility so its good to go. This is a great deal if you’re looking for an upper to finish up your lightweight build or an inexpensive upper to customize. Check out the details below.
Barrel: 16″ Chrome-lined, chrome moly vanadium. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, with a 1/7 twist, M4 barrel extension, and a mid-length gas system. The pencil profile barrel is high pressure tested and magnetic particle inspected and then phosphate coated. Barrel is finished off with an .625″ diameter F-marked front sight base with sling swivel, standard handguards and an A2 flash hider. Barrel is made for us right here in SC by FN Manufacturing.
Upper:Forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper is hard coat anodized black for durability. Featuring M4 feedramp cuts, T-marks, but no logo, these upper upper receivers are made for us right here in the USA.
Each upper is assembled to order with US-made parts, and test fired to check gas function. Does not include bolt carrier group or charging handle.
