Lately I’ve been obsessed with the idea of starting an AR Pistol build due to the fact that we are not permitted to have an SBR here in Michigan. I know, don’t get me started! Anyways, it just so happens that the guys over at Phase 5 Tactical are also a bit obsessed with building AR Pistols and let me tell you, they are sweet! They also just released their AR 15 CQC Pistol 7.5 inch Complete Upper which is ready to go right out of the box at a really good price-point too. This isn’t some bare bones upper either. Its loaded with some awesome components such as the P5T BL/CHA (Battle Latch Charging Handle Assembly), 7″ Quad Rail, P5T BCG and the P5T Pigtail Gas Tube and Low Pro Gas Block. The P5T Pigtail Gas Tube allows you to get rifle length gas system reliability and cycle timing on a pistol length gas barrel which is a huge upgrade.
