Sneak Peek!! FORTIS Manufacturing REV Rail

Fortis-logo2If you are unfamiliar with FORTIS Manufacturing that is totally understandable but not for much longer.  They are a newer manufacture to the AR-15 market but are really making some waves in the industry and are owned by some very reputable guys who know how to make high quality stuff right here in the USA!  They currently produce a rail mounted QD sling attachment point called the RAP and a few end plates sling attachments called the MPSA.  Well now you’ve got to check out their awesome new rail.   This new rail is called the REV and has everything you could ask for in a modern rail system.

With the popularity of KEY-MOD technology and the future of accessories that will mount to it, they wisely decided to use this as a base for their rail system.  What they did different than any other KEY-MOD rail I’ve seen to date is they left small sections of 1913 picatinny rail on the sides at the front to give you flexibility.  Once accessories start rolling out with KEY-MOD attachment points you may have older accessories that mount to 1913 so it will be nice to be able to use both types of attachment methods.  The rail is free floating, mounts to the standard AR-15 barrel nut and is super lightweight.  Finally they also added 4 QD sling mounts so you can run a 2-point sling easily.  Check out the pics of it raw or “in the white” and some details below.
