This is a pretty cool new product from the guys over at TangoDown.  This product addresses a kind of newer issue.  Recently you’ve begun seeing more and more people mounting pistol lights such as the SureFire X300 at the 12 o’clock position on the rail of their AR-15.  In that scenario the X300 as to be mounted forward of the front sight so that the beam is not blocked.  The issue with this is that the controls for the light tend to be hard to manipulate with the front sight behind it.  With the new TangoDown Front Sight Flashlight Adapter, the X300 light can be mounted behind the front sight making the controls much more available.  The Front Sight Flashlight Adapter is made from 4130 Steel and has an opening that the X300′s bezel fits into which can actually help keep it safe from damage.  Looks like their will be additional models coming soon.  If you have an X300 set up in front of your flip up sight you might want to check this new product out.  Photos and links are listed below.
