**UPDATE: As expected, these sold out within 30 minutes.**  Dustin over at CIV Tactical let me know that he has two (2) of his Limited Edition 18″ SS Fluted Match Barreled Uppers in-stock and ready to rock.  CIV Tactical uppers usually have an 8 week wait so this is a great chance to grab one without the wait.   These things are really awesome looking and should be a real tack-driver.  This upper features a CIV Tactical logoed M4 upper receiver, an 18″ Stainless Steel Straight Fluted Custom Heavy Match Grade Barrel, a Midwest Industries 15″ free float SS-Series Gen2 handguard, a Midwest Industries Flash Hider and a Low Profile Gas Block.  One of the nicest features about this upper is that it is chambered in .223 Wylde.  This is a hybrid or crossover between .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO.  It is similar to a 5.56 NATO chambered upper in that you can shoot both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO through it but it will increase the accuracy of the 5.56 NATO round which is typically a little bit less accurate than the .223 Remington round.  If I were in the market for a new upper this is definitely one I would be considering.  Check them out at CIVTactical.com.
