Magpul Introduces the New PMAG D60 (60 Round Drum)

Posted on January 13th, 2015 by ar15news

It really was only a matter of time before Magpul decided to venture into the drum mag business. We know they have the expertise to make a high quality affordable magazine and have recently added 40 rounds PMAGs to their lineup. Today they introduced the new PMAG D60 which is a lightweight, compact polymer 60 r0und drum mag. It features a special loading lever to make loading easier, a clear “full magazine indication window” on the back, can be inserted on a closed bolt and holds the bolt open after the last round. It also can be easily disassembled for cleaning. Magpul says it will begin shipping Spring/Summer 2015 with an MSRP of $129.95 but they will not be making “cut-away” or “transparent” models.

The PMAG D-60. Sixty rounds. Reliable, durable, lightweight, shorter than a 30 rd mag, and full of features that make it extremely easy to use. MSRP $129.95. Please not that transparent back and cut-away versions were for testing purposes only, and the solid drum with round indicator window is the variant that will be offered for sale. Shipping Spring/Summer 2015, but you can get a sneak peak of the drum in action at ATAC range day before SHOT show.
