I still get a big grin on my face whenever I take a look at all of the awesome stuff Battle Arms Development has come out with over the past few months. They have an imagination that most companies could only dream of having. One of their new products that will be available very soon is their new Lightweight Buttstock. It’s a simple, minimalistic, compact and fixed butt stock.
The small size of the butt pad works well to fit into the shoulder pocket and the buffer tube acts as the cheek rest. As I mentioned to someone earlier, its not that this stock is “non-collapsible”. I would say “non-extendable” as it is all the way collapsed to where a collapsable stock would stop at the back of the buffer tube. This will work great for those who like to shoot with their stock all the way collapsed or are using body armor, etc.
The Lightweight Buttstock is CNC’d out of solid billet 7075T6 aluminum. This version of the Lightweight Buttstock wraps and clamps down on the keyhole shaped cross section of the carbine buffer tube and secured by a screw and has a built in QD sling attachment as shown in the first picture below. There will be an additional version, also shown below, that will mount to the new “SaberTube” buffer tube that Battle Arms Development will also be releasing very soon.

I personally will be purchasing one of these to give it a try when they come out…like I do with just about any Battle Arms Development product. As far as I know, they have not given any pricing or exact release date but I do know they are coming very soon. Keep an eye on the Battle Arms Development Facebook Page or Battle Arms Development Instagram for more details.
