NOVESKE RIFLEWORKS TEAMS UP WITH VETERAN CHARITY, ONE MORE WAVE, TO CREATE A NEW RIFLE TO RAISE MONEY FOR OCEAN THERAPY EFFORTS.Posted on December 12th, 2016 by ar15news
GRANTS PASS, OREGON, DECEMBER 12, 2016 — After meeting Alex West (Founder / Director of 1MWave) for some carne asada tacos outside of Coronado California earlier this year, Lorina Noveske wanted to help raise money for this amazing non-profit group after learning about their efforts in aiding disabled vets.
Here’s the scoop on One More Wave: One More Wave is an non-profit charity started by US Navy veterans with the focus of enhancing the recovery of wounded or disabled vets via ocean therapy. They work with vets who have a wide range of disabilities, and customize surfboards to suit the specific injury. These surfboards are customized with graphics, and when needed, customized for performance adapting to specific physical disabilities.
Noveske will be releasing a special OMW rifle featuring our new NHR M-Lok hand guard, Gen III receiver set (including an engraved 1MWave Logo), Super Badass Charging Handle and more to raise funds for 1MWave. The rifle will sell for $2,350 with a sizable donation from each rifle going directly to helping vets.

Speaking specifically about the partnership, Lorina Noveske said “One More Wave is an organization that resonates deeply with something we at NOVESKE believe in: honoring the hard-fought American Lifestyle, and supporting those who put themselves on the line to protect it. Ultimately, we want these guys and girls home, and UUULTIMATELYYY, we want to see them live the life they f***ing fought for!!!! One More Wave gets them surfing, and helps them heal!!!”
Kyle Buckett, Vice President of One More Wave, added “Since 1MWave is 100% volunteer non-profit, the proceeds from this rifle will go directly to supporting wounded and disabled veterans. 1MWave will be able to continue providing the veterans they serve with custom surfing equipment and assistance. This equipment enables the veterans to achieve Ocean therapy, which is part of the healing process for issues our veterans may be dealing with like PTSD, TBI, depression, anger, anxiety, sleep apnea and many others.”
Noveske is proud to partner with One More Wave to help raise money for the creation of these fully customized surfboards. A large portion of the profit of the One More Wave rifle will be donated to aid in offsetting the cost of building the boards, and providing each vet with a special, life changing experience.
