Tyrant Designs CNC. Coming off an impressive product launch that sold out everywhere within 72 hours, Tyrant has now released the MiniVert in Red, Grey and Blue. The early reviews have come back very positive, with the guys at Tyrant already shifting their focus onto their upcoming Hand Stop.
“We are extremely happy with the launch of the MiniVert. For us it is an indicator that our design efforts and R&D are on the right path. We will continue in this direction and will be adding new products to the HALO Series very soon!”
Its not often that I get a chance to publish a press release for a new product after actually having personal hands on experience with it. However, that is the case with the new Tyrant Designs HALO MiniVert ForeGrip. I have one, have it mounted on one of my SBRs and I can say, it’s awesome!
They obviously took a lot of time to get the shape of the all metal grip just perfect because it actually feels great in the hand. It also is easy to swap between MLOK and KeyMod by simply swapping out the screws and mounting hardware (you can save yourself $3 if you only want one set of hardware). Initially Rainier Arms got an exclusive intro price on the new HALO MiniVert ForeGrip but they sold out in just 24 hours. Thankfully Tyrant Designs, the maker of the new HALO MiniVert ForeGrip, has some left in stock at the special intro price which you can purchase at the link below. You can also read the new product press release below.
Tyrant Designs CNC, an industry leader in high-end aftermarket AR grips has just announced their release of the new HALO Series MiniVert, a vertical forward grip. With dimensions slightly smaller than the average AR-15 vert grip, the MiniVert sports an aggressive looking knurl and well thought out ergonomics. Coupled with the ability to fit directly to MLOK and Keymod rail systems this little grip packs a big punch. With an overall length just shy of 3 inches, Tyrant instead utilized an elongated lip at the bottom allowing the operator the option of either tucking their pinky behind or resting the finger the traditional way.
“With all of the positive feedback we have received from reviewers, dealers and social media, we are extremely excited to announce the official release of our HALO Series MiniVert! This concept took months of designing and field testing to make it as comfortable as possible while maintaining our well known aggressive styling. It truly is a vertical grip that can be used in all situations on various platforms to heighten the performance of the operator. We are pleased with how it came out and look forward to seeing it on AR’s everywhere. ”

That can add up really fast when you’re stocking up on mags. This isn’t some affiliate code that we get paid on. Just a special deal for you guys that we wanted to pass on. Tyrant Designs CNC, an industry leader in high-end aftermarket AR grips, has announced that their top selling line of AR-15 accesories, the AR-15 MOD Grip and MOD ForeGrip will soon (a few weeks to be exact) be available in a nickel finish! This has been rumored to be a limited release only, and will be available on Tyrant’s website as well as a few select distributors.
The MOD Series has made itself popular due to the ability to intermix different sized polymer straps to create a custom fit for each individual’s needs, all while maintaining the ergonomics of a plastic grip with the aesthetics of a wild aluminum grip.
“The amount of inquiries we have had over the past 6 months for a polished MOD Grip has been staggering. We always love listen to our customers and fans, but we did not want to come out with anything less than what we thought was perfect. Polishing was just out of the question due to the man hours involved to polish each grip, and even then it didn’t look great. After lots of trial and error we finally found the perfect combination of media blasting and electroless nickel finish. The process itself is still time consuming and more expensive than our current line of colors, but given the amount of time it has taken for us to get this down perfect we feel we owe it to our customers to release the Nickel Line at the same price point.”

TYRANT DESIGNS CNC ANNOUNCES ITS NEW LINE OF GRIPS, THE LWP (LIGHTWEIGHT PRO) SERIES!
Tyrant Designs CNC, an industry leader in high end, aftermarket AR grips announced that they have released their new line of grips, the LWP Grip. Available in black, red, blue and grey the Lightweight Pro series is CNC machined from a single piece of aerospace grade aluminum. The grips weigh in at a surprisingly light 3.4 ounces, thanks to some weight savings by milling out the entire inside of the grip as well as addition holes on the top.
“The Lightweight Pro tips the scales at 3.4 ounces and is lighter than the majority of available grips currently on the market. ( Yes we mean polymers too) ! We set out to create the lightest, most ergonomic grip on the market without compromising the structural integrity and quality. It is CNC machined from a single piece of aerospace grade aluminum and has a knurled back strap for additional adhesion. It instantly gives the operator the confidence needed in any weather or scenario, all while maintaining the consistency needed for a light weight build. Despite its lightweight it is incredibly durable and does not feel flimsy in the hand. If you are looking for the perfect grip for your lightweight build, look no further than the LWP!”

Over the past few years there has definitely been a huge shift towards AR-15 grips with a more vertical angle for a number of reasons including less wrist fatigue, better shooting posture, etc. Tactical Link, a company well known for very nice slings, sling mounts and other accessories, has just announced their newest product which they are calling the Tactical Link PDW Grip for AR style rifles. The TL PDW Grip looks pretty awesome and features its own distinct texture pattern. Check out the details and pics below.
The PDW Grip is a drop-in upgrade for AR style rifles with a more vertical angle, optimized for short LOP (length of pull) personal defense weapons (PDW), bringing the primary hand in closer to the shooter’s body, encouraging a more natural “elbows in” shooting posture which substantially reduces wrist fatigue and is concurrent with modern shooting doctrine.
Made to the finest standards from an extremely durable fiber-reinforced polymer, the PDW Grip is the result of extensive professional shooter feedback and engineering excellence that has produced one of the finest shooting upgrades in the market today. The PDW Grip sports a patent pending design with “zones” of moderately aggressive surface texture to provide unmatched gripping properties for positive weapon control in all environments.
The PDW Grip is compatible with most lower receiver mounting platforms (forged or billet) and provides improved biomechanics to better align the trigger finger for a more comfortable and direct rearward trigger pull. Due to its hollow core design (no internal storage), the PDW Grip weighs only 2.1 oz and since the PDW Grip is a drop-in upgrade it is sold without a grip screw.
Shooter Refined Ergonomics: at 14 degrees, the PDW Grip is 235% (19 degrees) more vertical than the standard A2 grip and is the most comfortable and relaxing grip on the marketplace. Places the hand’s flexor muscles on more of the same plane creating a more natural hand position for a more natural hand position with little to no fatigue even during prolonged use.
Optimized Biomechanics: small beavertail backstrap provides enhanced ergonomics and allows the operator’s hand to ride high on the grip for improved recoil management and fire control.
Tactile Gripping Texture: much more aggressive texture than most other grips on the marketplace. “Zones” of more aggressive anti-slip texturing on the palm panels for excellent gripping properties and for positive weapon control in all environments.
Features: – All edges rounded for operator comfort
– Reinforced beaver tail for extra rigidity
– Aggressive PSP (Pentagonal Surface Projections) Texture on both palm panels for superior weapon control
– Grooves on the front and rear backstraps for optimal anti-slip surface and excellent gripping properties
– Accommodates the “seam” commonly found on the beaver tail of forged lower receivers
– Unique trigger guard design provides a very comfortable, and absolutely the best fit at the trigger guard area of any grip on the market
– Grip “pulls” the operator’s hand forward into the grip for a more positive grip and better operational control of the weapon
– Robust design easily exceeds industry standards for quality, strength and durability
– 100% made in USA
The Tactical Link PDW Grip is available now directly from www.TacticalLink.com and will start shipping this week! I’ll definitely be snagging one of these soon to try out on an SBR or AR Pistol.
