With so many people buying their first AR-15 due to possibility of a new Assault Weapon Ban its not just the Lowers and Mags that are becoming impossible to get your hands on. Its been a while since I posted about any new AR-15 accessories from GG&G so it was nice to see this new grip pop up on my radar. GG&G just announced a brand new Vertical Fore Grip called the SFG-1 Short Vertical Grip. I think you can figure out that it is a “Short Vertical Grip” as the name indicates. The SFG-1 is made of lightweight polymer and is designed to mount to a 1913 picatiny rail system. It also has a small storage compartment which will presumably fit something the size of a CR123 battery in it. Best of all the SFG-1, like all GG&G products, is MADE IN THE USA!! Last month we gave you guys a sneak peek at the new APL from INFORCE which is something we’ve been patiently waiting for ever since we first got our hands on the super popular WML. When we showed you guys the first pics of the APL (Auto Pistol Light) last month we had some idea of the performance of the APL but were asked to not state anything just yet as these details weren’t official. Now we know that was a smart thing as they are even more impressive that originally thought. The APL will give the user 200 Lumens of blinding white light and will feature momentary and constant on modes which will be selected by ambidextrous paddles.
