Its hard to believe that we are already half way through the month of February but this year is just flying by. I’ve been trying to decide on a good time to introduce you guys to some new products from Angstadt Arms which are due out in April. With as fast as time seems to be flying, if I don’t do it now I might completely miss it. In a very short time, Angstadt Arms will be introducing their new UDP-9 9mm PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) and 9mm Receiver Sets.

The UDP-9 is a 9mm Pistol AR that features the new receiver set which are truly beautiful looking. If you don’t like it in Pistol configuration you can easily submit a Form1 to the ATF to register it as an SBR and slap a stock on it. Probably the most important feature to me is the fact that they are fed by Glock magazines instead of Colt mags. Many people carry a Glock 9mm as their concealed carry option, including myself. Having a Primary and Secondary weapon that both use the same ammunition and feeding source could be a huge plus if its ever needed. With companies such as Magpul and ETS Group making 9mm Glock Mags,  will be more readily available and less expensive to purchase as well. You can read more about the Angstadt Arms UDP-9 9mm PDW below.

Angstadt Arms UDP-9 9mm PDW
The UDP-9 redefines the pistol caliber carbine. Designed specifically for urban environments and close quarter combat, the UDP-9 is a compact, personal defense weapon chambered in 9mm and fed with GLOCK® magazines.

I’m really excited about Angstadt Arms’ new UDP-9 PDW and Receiver Sets. I’ve been wanting to either buy or build a 9mm AR for a while now, especially one that uses Glock 9mm Magazines like I carry every day. Not sure if I will buy a receiver set or full UDP-9 PDW but odds are I’ll end up doing something with these when they come out.

From what I can tell pricing will be $479 for an upper and lower billet receiver set, $1,249 for the UDP-9mm PDW Pistol and $1,349 for a UDP-9mm PDW SBR. Look for them to be released some time in April 2015. We will be sure to announce to you guys when they are available as well.
