Dustin at CIV Tactical just let me in on a little secret.  He’s been working overtime to produce some extra uppers that aren’t for his current orders as well as securing some additional parts for custom upper orders.  Right now he currently has about 10 of his custom Blueprinted and Lapped AR15 Upper Receivers in-stock and available for immediate purchase.  Custom Upper orders are running on a 4-6 week lead if you select the BCG option but may be shorter if ordered without a BCG.  Check out the details of these products below.    

CIV Tactical Blueprinted and Lapped Stripped Upper

-  Upper has been professionally blueprinted and the face of the receiver has been lapped on a lathe to make it perfectly squared off, ensuring that the barrel, bolt and the receiver are in perfect alignment.  This job is typically done on precision rifles but has been shown to increase accuracy out of an AR15 as well.

CIV Tactical M16 Milspec BCG Pre-Order – June Delivery – $165

My buddy Dustin over at CIV Tactical is doing a pre-order on M16  BCG’s and I think we all need to jump on this deal.  I’ve seen a lot of bad BCG’s lately, specifically ones that look like a 3rd grader assembled it and used a crayon to stake the carrier.  If you want one that has been assembled and inspected by a Certified Gunsmith, this is the pre-order to get in on.  The price is perfect at just $165 each, there is no limit on how many you can order and they’ll be shipping next month.  Sure you could just wait for one to pop up on some random website out there but you’ll either pay a bunch more for it or you’ll probably get a junk one like many other people have been getting.  I know Dustin, he is meticulous and will make sure these are perfect.  Orders must be in by 5/21/13 to make the cutoff for this pre-order.  Pre-order these with confidence at CIVTactical.com.  

CIV TAC complete bolt carrier groups are precision machined and finished with mil-spec manganese phosphate surface treatment. Every complete CIV TAC bolt carrier group is individually hand assembled and inspected for duty use by a certified gunsmith. The gas key is secured to the bolt carrier using grade 8 fasteners and staked according to factory mil-spec for extreme reliability. Each bolt is checked for proper extractor cam out, extractor hook’s positive engagement angle, firing pin protrusion length, correct plunger ejector installation and function, and gas rings installation and function.

**UPDATE**  We finally received answers to the questions you guys had regarding these BCG’s.
1.  What material is the bolt made from:  Shot Peened 9130 Steel.  Very similar to 158 Carpenter, 9130 is used in most “Enhanced/Improved” bolt designs such as the JP Enhanced Bolt, etc.
2.  Is the BCG HPT (High Pressure Tested) and MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspected).  The BCG’s are not individually tested to keep the end users cost down but ones from the batches that go into full rifles are.

I’ve asked my buddy Dustin over at CIV Tactical to let me know whenever he gets some extra AR15 uppers built and listed as in-stock on his website.  Dustin is so meticulous with his custom upper builds that I swear he has some OCD issues or something but it definitely makes for an awesome upper.  LoL!  No seriously though, its because he cares about the quality of each and every one of the uppers that leave his shop.  Right now he has 4 different styles of uppers listed on his website that are available for purchase starting from a his basic M4 upper to the very nice Light Scout Upper w/ Troy MRF-R Free Float Rail.  He has all of the parts in and will be building these when they are ordered and in the order they were purchased.  He said he is running about a 2-3 week lead time before they ship.  Check them out below.  The prices on these are great and they go fast.
