SHOT Show 2013 – KAC 300Blackout Coming

Based on the picture below it looks like KAC (Knight’s Armament Company) may be joining the 300AAC Blackout market with at least some sort of 300 Blackout Upper in the future.  Its no surprise that the 300 Blackout has become a huge player when looking at alternative rounds to the normal 5.56 AR’s.  It’s a very easy conversion for the manufacturer as it only requires the use of a different barrel and flash hider, everything else is the same.  The benefit is much better stopping power and shoots very well suppressed especially with SubSonic rounds.

Knight’s Armament 45° Offset Aimpoint T1 Micro Mount

Knight’s Armament just announced that they have updated their inventory and added their 45° Offset Aimpoint T1 Micro Mount to their online store.  The Offset T1 Mount is a very complimentary product to go along with their 45° Offset BUIS.  The 45° Offset BUIS are already incredibly popular and are about as high quality as you can get.  Now filling the void, the 45° Offset Aimpoint T1 Micro Mount will allow the user to cowitness with their offset KAC sights and offset Aimpoint.  This would even work well without any Offset BUIS.  One of these days I will pony up and get a pair of Offset Sights and a T1 mount from KAC.  If you’re looking for high quality gear KAC is where its at.  I’ve included pics and purchase links below.
