LanTac USA started teasing pics of their much anticipated Black Nitride version of the E-BCG a couple of weeks ago and we just learned that both the standard E-BCG (5.56) and E-BCG Heavy (7.62) are now officially available with a Black Nitride finish. As I’ve stated before, this is how you make the best BCG on the market even better. I prefer Black Nitride over NiB because Black Nitride is not a coating, it is a surface treatment that changes the surface of the metal so it can’t flake off. Obviously when NiB is done right like on the standard LanTac E-BCGs it won’t flake off either but I’ve seen NiB BCGs from other companies that have. Black Nitride also has excellent anti-corrosion properties as well as being just as slick as NiB. On top of all of that…it isn’t bright silver, it’s black and looks awesome. Many companies are going away from Chrome Lined barrels and doing Black Nitride (also called QPQ or Melonite) finishes on the inside and out of the barrel. Its just freaking good stuff.
The new LanTac USA Black Nitride E-BCG and E-BCG Heavy are available on pre-order right now and will start shipping next week. These will sell out fast so don’t miss your opportunity to snag one. You can find them at www.LanTac-USA.com.
