NEW!! 3X Long Eye Relief Magnifier Gen2 From Primary Arms

Primary Arms just announced their Gen2 version of their extremely popular 3X LER Magnifier.  The LER stands for Long Eye Relief which is exactly what this product gives you.  With the 3X LER you get almost 3″ of eye relief so no more feeling like you need to get our eye right up to the magnifier to get a good view.  The difference between Gen1 and Gen2 is that the Gen2 is now higher recoil rated so those of you who want a magnifier on your 7.62 AR or AK don’t have to spend an arm and a leg to get one.  The Gen2 also gives you the ability to center the dot in the magnifier.  This is a nice feature as there are often slight differences in height based on different mounts used.  Check out the pics and information below.    Continue reading “NEW!! 3X Long Eye Relief Magnifier Gen2 From Primary Arms” »

NEW!! Primary Arms FFP (First Focal Plane) 4-14x Scope

It seems like every time I post about a new Scope I get tons of comments calling for someone to make an affordable scope that has a FFP or First Focal Plane reticle.  The benefit of a First Focal Plane reticle is that as you increase the magnification the reticle also increases in size relative to the target making it so things like Range Estimation and BDC (Bullet Drop Compensation) are accurate at all magnification levels.  With a non-FFP reticle the mil-dots are only useful at a specific magnification which is determined by the manufacturer.  Primary Arms is bringing to market an affordable First Focal Plane reticle 4-14x scope.  It also features Tactical Turrets that are resettable but not locking.  I personally have not had the pleasure of owning any PA products but from those I’ve talked to they had nothing but good reports.  Check out the pictures, details and purchasing info below.   Continue reading “NEW!! NEW!! Primary Arms 3XLER (Long Eye Relief) Magnifier – Budget Friendly

Not everyone wants to or has the funds available to spend $300-500 on a magnifier for their rifles so when I saw this new magnifier from Primary Arms I thought it would be a good product to share with you guys.  I’ve heard some pretty good things about Primary Arms products but do not have any personal experience with them.  This is a particularly interesting product as it offers a longer eye relief than many of the other 3X magnifiers out there allowing you to keep your optic forward more on the rifle and not get as much tunnel vision like when looking through a scope.  Definitely worth checking out.  I’ve got some details and pictures below.    Continue reading “NEW!! NEW!! Primary Arms 7X Magnifier
