The new Banshee QD plate carrier from Shellback Tactical is now in-stock and shipping in all colors. The standard Banshee Rifle Plate Carrier is already a huge hit. The main difference with the new design is the QD (Quick Deployment) function. Instead of using a more traditional cummerbund that has PALS webbing on the inside allowing the use of side plates, etc. the new cummerbund is a hybrid of sorts that is padded on the inside for comfort, has quick release buckles and features PALS on the outside only. This is a great option for those who do not need side plate carrying capabilities. I’ve always felt using the cummerbund was much more comfortable than using just the side qd nylon straps but the cummerbund was velcro which can be noisy and difficult to align. Now you have the best of both worlds. One other difference is that on the MultiCam model they will be using MultiCam webbing now too. Check out the pics and details below.
