Wilson Combat is world renown for making some amazing high-end 1911s and AR15s so it is no surprise that they have added a new billet option for their lineup.   Billet receivers are very sought after as they typically allow the manufacturer greater freedom when it comes to the appearance of the piece and have a much more premium feel.  Their usually isn’t a lot of added benefit to going with billet aside from the Integrated Winter Trigger Guard and a Flared Magwell but Wilson Combat isn’t just your regular old, run of the mill AR manufacturer.  They not only have a sweet looking billet receiver set now but also have made some additional improvements over traditional billet receivers.  These will be offered as an upgrade option when ordering a complete AR or Upper Assembly from WC.  Unfortunately there is no word yet if they will offer these as a standalone purchase.  Maybe if we ask nice enough!  : )  Check out the pics and details below.

The Wilson Combat Adjustable AR Gas Block replaces a standard AR gas block and allows you to tune your direct impingement rifle’s gas system for smoother cycling and enhanced reliability. Adjusting your rifle’s gas port will lower or increase your bolt’s cyclic rate and tailors your rifle’s performance to your unique needs.
