Over the past month my buddies Steve Aryan (Director of Training at the United States Shooting Academy) and Stephen Pineau (President/CEO – 21st Century Gunfighter) started releasing a series of short videos. These videos were a 5 part series comparing many different muzzle devices. Not only do they cover a wide range of muzzle devices but they also show video of how these devices perform under full auto fire. I offered to combine these 5 videos into one so I could easily share it with you guys. So, here you go! Check it out!
The original series was shot in very nice HD video. Unfortunately when uploading a large video like this there is a loss in video quality but it still looks okay.
Many of you up until very recently had never heard of PNW Arms and that was exactly how they liked it. The video below shows the world’s first production run Supercavitating Underwater Bullet. Supercavitation is where a fast moving object goes through liquid in such a way that it causes a gas bubble to form around the object allowing it to continue moving through the liquid at a much higher rate of speed than is usually possible because of the lack of friction. You might think you’ve seen underwater bullets before or that it sounds like all bullets should do that but they’re nothing like this! In fact there’s a lot of science that has gone into this technology and it is becoming broadly available in the USA thanks to PNW Arms! That’s why their tag line is “Weapons Science”.
The specific round PNW Arms is shooting in the video below is their 300AAC Blackout Underwater Bullet. Mark from PNW Arms said “Typically .308 bullets will only go through three to four (3-4) jugs at most. This example shows it going through 13 one gallon jugs, a steel plate, and then another jug. In water borne operations this general purpose version of the projectile can go over 15 meters underwater and then have positive effects on target.” Check out the awesome video below.

The Haley Strategic Partners Knowledge Channel Blog may not be the most active blog in the world but I can tell you I’m on there at least every other day looking to see if they’ve got any new videos up to check out. The videos cover anything from Shooting Drills, Survival Info and Weapons Manipulation to Weapon Setup, New Products and New Courses. They have quite a few videos up to take a look at and just the other day they added a set of FREE downloadable targets as well. I think it says a lot about HSP the company in general that they are willing to share info with their fans even if you aren’t a paying customer. Regardless of your skill level there is a good chance you can learn something from Travis Haley. This is not my typical post but when my buddy Colin from 556 Tactical / Assault Life™ sent me this video on Facebook I thought it was too cool to not share on AR15News.com! Colin recently partnered up with Wilson Combat to produce a custom Combat Recon 6.8SPC AR-15 which uses a Wilson Combat 6.8SPC barrel and TRIM Rail System to make this an awesome shooting rifle.
