Every so often the Military holds the Improved Carbine Trials to let different manufacturers compete for contracts with the Military. A well known manufacturer chose to equip their rifles with the Battle Arms Development M-16 Ambi Safety Selector (CASS-3P, M-16). So far it has gone through more than 100,000 cycles/rounds and has functioned flawlessly.
This is the same Ambi Safety Selector as the B.A.D.A.S.S and 45 degree Ambi Safety Selectors that I highlighted earlier this month but the CASS-3P is for a full auto M-16.
