FORTIS Mfg just announced its newest product called the RAP which is short for Rail Attachment Point. The RAP is a really nice looking option for those of us looking to add a QD mount to any 1913 rail system. Why spend hundreds of dollars on upgrading to a new rail system with built in QD’s only to not like the location of the attachment points. With an add on attachment point like the RAP you can put it anywhere you want on the rail. The idea behind the RAP is nothing new but what sets it apart is how inexpensive it is for such a high quality part made right here in the USA
