I really hadn’t heard to much noise about the Roger’s Super-Stoc prior to when Military Time’s Gear Scout did the greatest stock test of all time back in January of this year. During their testing they found that it had a great weight to strength ratio and it was the lightest of all the stocks they tested. The Roger’s Super-Stoc is used as OEM on some of the new Colt Rifles but for some reason I still rarely see anyone using the Roger’s Super-Stoc. Some people have remarked that its very similar to a Magpul CTR stock but there is only so much you can do to be different anymore and I think there are some cool features that differentiate the two.
One of the most interesting facts is that the CTR weighs 35% more than the Roger’s Super-Stoc yet they both are about the same size and strength. They both feature multiple sling mounting options and a friction lock to remove wobble in the stock. Another main difference is that the Roger’s Super-Stoc will work on both Commercial and Mil-Spec buffer tubes where as you have to choose which size you want with the CTR.
