JP Enterprises LogoI recently purchased a new lower receiver from Wilson Combat and had some odds and ends parts, triggers, etc., laying around but not enough to complete my new lower.  Most companies sell complete LPK’s (Lower Parts Kits), including the Trigger Group plus all of the springs, detents, roll pins, takedown pins, trigger guard, etc. Since I already had my trigger group, I set out to find a good deal on a quality LPK that did not include the trigger guard.  With the popularity of aftermarket triggers, especially the new ALG Defense ACT and QMS triggers tuned by Geissele, this seems like a much-needed product.  I was sure that I would end up only finding junk partial LPK’s and buying a complete Daniel Defense LPK or similar, but I was pleasantly surprised by what I found.

I happened to run across the JP Rifles LPK-LTG or Lower Parts Kit – Less Trigger Group.  If you know anything about JP Rifles, you know they make some really high-end products.  For example, their billet lower receivers go for about $500.  I assumed that their LPK would also be pretty pricey, but to my surprise, it was just $38.95.  I’ve installed it on my Wilson Combat lower, and so far, so good.  I haven’t really had any issues other than the front pivot pin was a bit tight at first.  After a little use, it loosened up. Check out the details of the kit below.  I’ve also pasted a link to purchase the JP Rifles LPK for yourself.
