Magpul LogoType 2010-1Our friends over at Soldier Systems Daily had a chance to be on set at the shooting of the new Hot Shots Calendar which is being sponsored by Magpul.  Of course the had some of their new gear on display for the photos and SSD had an opportunity to check them out.  Two of the items on hand were the new Magpul MOE stock and the PMAG M3 magazine.  These new items were introduced at SHOT Show 2012 earlier this year but haven’t been seen much since then.  The MOE Stock is much different than the original collapsible MOE stock.  This new version is a fixed stock and has some nice upgrades such as storage options and has multiple spots for an optional QD sling mount.

The new Magpul PMAG M3 will be a much more universally compatible magazine and they’ve made numerous improvements to increase reliability and durability for the new mags such as new materials and molding processes.  They’ve also added a few ergonomic upgrades as well such as the ribbed areas along the front of the magazine to give better grip and a standard (not optional) lower profile floor plate.
