The cool part about this upper is that they’ve hidden the carbine length low profile gas block under the rifle length handguard to make what is also known as a Dissipator upper. The dissipator upper gives a rifle length sight radius to a standard carbine length barrel. The mock dissipator takes that a step further by utilizing a dependable carbine length gas system hiden under the rifle-length handguards.
Barrel: 16″, M4 profile, 5.56 NATO chamber with a 1:7 twist , chrome-lined, lead-lapped and air-gauged bore, carbine-length gas port, and M4 feedramps. A taper pinned, f-marked, front sight post is installed at the Rifle length with a forearm endcap firmly secured. Barrels are finished off with a low profile gas block under the MOE rifle length handguards, and an A2 flash supressor. Handguards are available in either Black or Flat Dark Earth.
Upper: Forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper is made to MIL-SPECS and hard coat anodized black for durability. Featuring machined T marks, these uppers are made for us right here in the USA, and are marked with the Palmetto State Armory logo on the left side, up front, just below the rail.
Bolt: Bolt is made of Mil-spec Carpenter 158 steel, Shot peened, MPI and HPT. Gas key is secured with grade 8 fasteners and staked per mil-spec. Bolt carrier is parkerized outside, chrome lined inside, and laser engraved with the Palmetto State Armory logo
