Not sure how long this will stay in-stock but it is right now for $629.99. This is a great looking upper. The only issue I see is that there is no BCG. BCG’s are extremely hard to find right now so that is the only drawback. But, if you’re in the market for an upper receiver that already has a great handguard, like this Midwest Industries Gen2 MI-SS, then you should definitely grab one of these. A Railed Free float stainless upper in 223 Wylde!
Barrel: 16″ Chambered in 223 Wylde, with a 1/8 twist, M4 barrel extension, and a mid-length gas system. The modified A2 profile barrel is mase of 416 stainless and lead-lapped for acuracy. Barrel is finished off with a Midwest Industries SS12G2 12″ free-float rail, low-profile gas block and an A2 flash hider.
Upper: Forged 7075-T6 Flat top AR upper is hard coat anodized black for durability. Featuring M4 feedramp cuts, T-marks, these upper upper receivers are made for us right here in the USA.
Each upper is assembled to order with US-made parts, and test fired to check gas function. Does not include bolt carrier group or charging handle. The 223 Wylde chamber allows for the use of either 5.56 or 223 ammo with enhanced accuracy over the 5.56 NATO.
AIM Surplus has been putting together some sweet complete uppers lately and this one should be nothing less. This is a complete upper so it comes with a BCG and Charging Handle unlike what many other companies are doing lately. In addition to the fact that it comes with the BCG and CH, it also features some very nice, name brand components such as a 16″ Cold Hammer Forged barrel from Daniel Defense and a Daniel Defense MFR 9.0 which is their modular freefloat rail. This is a midlength gas system so they were able to install the standard A2 front sight as well. This should be a great upper and the barrel is the key component in making it a durable, accurate piece. Check out the details and picture below.
