Seekins Precision makes some of my absolute favorite rails.  I personally use their BAR rail on my AR Pistol and have a SAR rail on another rifle.  One of their most popular models is the MCSR (Modular Combat Suppressor Rail).  It features a perfectly round tube with slots to attach rail sections including a complete top rail section.  With the strong emphasis in the AR15 industry on KeyMod, Seekins Precision has announced the new MCSR V2 which now features KeyMod attachment slots at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock and a slightly lower MSRP.  Check out the details below.  As soon as I get some larger pictures I will be sure to share them with you guys.  

Seekins Precision is excited to announce the new
MCSR V2 rail with lower MSRP! 

The MCSR V2 rail will be available in 7”, 9”, 10”, 12” and 15” lengths. We have designed the rail so that the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions will now accept all keymod accessories and have two anti-rotation QD points per side (6 total). The internal dimension of the MCSR V2 has increased to 1.8” to accommodate most suppressors on the market. The top picatinny rail is now a solid integrated part of the handguard.

All open orders for MCSR rails will be converted to the new MCSR V2 rail as the original MCSR rail has been discontinued and is no longer being produced.

With the addition of the keymod cuts on the sides of the MCSR V2 rail, we will no longer be shipping the Seekins Precision proprietary picatinny side sections with the new rail. However they will still be available for separate purchase.

SNEAK PEEK!! Seekins Precision AR15 Forged Lower Receiver

Perhaps one of the most well know products that Seekins Precision makes is their very popular and unique billet lower called the SP223.  I personally have an SP223 and quite a few of their rail systems.  The machining is some of the best out there.  One of the things I could never figure out is why they didn’t offer any forged lower receivers like many of the other companies out there that offer billet lowers.  Well, it appears that will be changing soon.  My buddy Zero7One has been at SHOT Show 2013 snapping some pics and look what he found.  On the left is the Seekins Precision SP223 billet lower.  On the right is the new Seekins Precision forged lower receiver.  Based on the all of the finger prints I’m guessing its been getting quite a bit of attention.  I have not release date or pricing information just yet but I will do my best to find out and update you guys.

NEW!! Seekins Precision Aimpoint Micro T-1 Mount

If you are fortunate enough to own an Aimpoint Micro T-1 then you know what it means to not settle for second best.  Of all of the compact Red Dot’s on the market the Aimpoint Micro is one of the most sought after and most expensive because of its durability and high quality.  With an optic like this you aren’t going to want to just stop there.  You will also want the best mount as well which is not the standard mount that it comes with.  Most people will upgrade their Aimpoint Micro mount at some point so why not do it right the first time.  This new Seekins Precision mount looks like a great option and is very lightweight.  Just 1.7 ounces!  You can see in the second picture they achieved the light weight by machining out all of the unnecessary metal which also looks pretty sweet too!  Check out the details and pics below!    Continue reading “NEW!!
